Self Contained Lubrication System
Overview
The Self Contained Lubrication System from CCT is the world's first completely portable lubrication system designed for nearly any gas compressor application. Each unit is custom designed and assembled for the specific lubrication requirements of your compressor. The electric motor driven system, completely safe and certified for gas environments, can not only perform the operational lubrication needs of the compressor, but it can also perform a pre and post lube operation ensuring your compressor is always lubed and ready. Perfect for applications where the compressor starts and stops often.
Benefits
- Minimum of 2 full years warranty on all components, with a 3 year warranty on proFlo Jr.'s, and 5 full years on all check valves.
- Installation can be performed by CCT, a CCT distributor, or the end customer, your choice.
- The systems perform equally as well off shore or inland.
- Makes pre and post lubrication of vital components possible.
- Fully assembled at CCT under strict quality control guidelines and ready for shipment anywhere in the world.
- All the lubrication system components are in one location, making maintenance simpler and more efficient.
- Stand alone motor allows for independent system purge and preventative maintenance.
- Custom system design based on application and compressor specifications.
Installation
The Self Contained Lubrication System can be installed by CCT technicians, CCT Distributors, or the end user. A complete set of CAD drawings, including system layout, cycle times, and lube rates for break-in and normal operation are provided. The lubrication reservoir can be either a fixed tank or integrated with existing lubrication lines for indefinite operations. Electronic controls are integrated with the existing compressor skid. The Master Divider Block Assembly can be mounted to the back plate of the skid or on the compressor where the tubing can be run to the Secondary Divider Block Assemblies on the compressor which will lessen the amount of tubing to make a cleaner installation.
Operations
These units are driven by an electric motor (explosion proof) and give the ability to connect to a pre-lube & post-lube set up with the use of a rising & falling pressure switch or On/Off Timer in the compressor control panel. The unit will turn on automatically when the compressor oil pump-oil pressure rises to a preset pressure switch or an On-Timer in the compressor panel that turns on the electric motor driving the lube system. It will shut down after the compressor oil pressure decreases to a shut off falling pressure switch setting or Off-Timer from the compressor panel. The rings, rods/packing’s are protected with an approximate .002 cu. in. oil film before the compressor starts and when it shuts down. This stops a compressor from starting & stopping dry and protects the rings, rods & packing’s from wear due to dry starts.
Maintenance
This type of installation keeps all of the main components of the lubrication system in one location, and it is easier for an operator or service mechanic to be able to view it all at one time to see if there are any issues that need to be reported. It also allows for the system to be worked on during scheduled Preventive Maintenance when the compressor is down. The complete system Low & High Pressure Filters and feed lines to the cylinder & packing points can easily be purged by letting the system run via an On/Off electrical switch. The lube system is then purged and ready for start-up after a complete PM when the customer is ready to run their compressor.
Getting Started
CC Technology can design divider block systems for all compressors in the industry. Before we can design a system for you though, we need some information about your compressor. Just click on any link below that matches the type of compressor you have, fill in the information and click SUBMIT. Our engineering department will design your system and send you a quote. It’s that easy! The forms can also be filled out and printed, then sent via fax or mail.
