Manifolds
CCT suction and discharge manifolds are designed to last for years of trouble free service in any operating environment. Suction manifold are used to evenly distribute lubricant to two or more pumps in the same lube box, greatly simplifying the oil feed system. Manifolds on the discharge side provide additional ports to install gauges and bypass components.
NOTE: While many existing systems also use a discharge manifold to combine multiple pump outputs into one high volume feed, there are some potential problems doing that. If one of the pumps fail or outputs drop significantly, the remaining pumps will continue to cycle the lube system but with much less oil. The automatic no-flow devices may not trigger a system shutdown and the compressor will continue to run with under lubed components. more>>>
